How to create an email alias in yahoo mail

  • Navigate to mail.yahoo.com in a web browser and log in to your account if necessary.
  • Select Settings in the upper right corner.
  • Select More Settings at the bottom of the right sidebar.
  • Select Mailboxes from the left vertical menu.
  • In the Email Alias ​​section, select Add button.
  • Enter the name of your new email alias (without the “@yahoo.com” part) in the Create a new Yahoo Mail address field.
  • select the blue set Up button.
  • Once your email alias has been successfully created, you will be asked to provide the following information: Your name: Will be shown in emails you send. A description: A short description, such as “extra account”. Reply to address: Choose whether to receive replies to messages sent via the email alias to the email alias or to your primary Yahoo email address.

  • Click Next.
  • Make sure the Treat as an alias checkbox is selected (although it usually is).
  • Click Next Step.
  • Click Submit verification.
  • Log in to the email account you want to add as a permanent alias.
  • Open the email sent by the Gmail team regarding the alias confirmation. The subject title will be something like “Gmail Confirmation – Send email as janedoe@gmail.com”.
  • Click the verification link included in the email to complete the process of adding an alias.
  • Click Confirm.

  • Sign in to the Microsoft account website.
  • Select Your Information.
  • Select Manage as you sign in to Microsoft.
  • If you use two-factor authentication, request and enter the required code.
  • On the Manage how you sign in to Microsoft page, select Add email.
  • To use a new address as an alias, select Create a new email address and add it as an alias. To add an email address that you already have, select Add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias.
  • Select Add Alias.
  • If prompted, re-enter your password for security purposes and select Login.
  • Your newly added alias is listed on the Manage how you sign in to Microsoft page under Account Alias.
