It is possible that the KYY K3-3 has a price tag that is on the lower end of the spectrum, but judging by the portable monitor, you would not recognise this fact. Although the top bezel is quite tiny, the side bezels are approximately twice as thick as the top bezel. The design of this device is relatively sturdy. Additionally, the bottom bezel is much larger (an additional doubling in size), and it is in this area that the KYY logo is located in the center.
When it comes to logos that are installed in the bottom bezel, I do not find them to be objectionable because the typography is normally modest and backed in subdued colours that do not draw attention to themselves. Nevertheless, the KYY logo is quite huge, it is written in a bold typeface, and it is predominantly white. The fact that it attracts attention to the monitor’s branding is a positive thing; however, it also drew my attention whenever I looked at the display, which is not a good thing.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]But, the attention-grabbing logo was a frequent source of distraction for me. The right side of the KYY K3-3 is where you’ll find a micro HDMI port as well as two USB-C connections (DisplayPort 1.2 Alt Mode). By use a single USB-C cable and a laptop that is compatible with the display, it is possible to directly power the monitor and drive video. In addition, you can rely on the USB-C power adapter that is included in the package when connecting the monitor to the computer using HDMI.
Additionally, one of the two speakers on the monitor is located on the right side of the device. An additional speaker, a 3.5mm headphone port, a three-way scroll wheel, and a single button are all located on the left side of the device. Navigation across the on-screen display (OSD) can be accomplished by the use of the scroll wheel and the button.

Where to Get KYY Portable Monitor 15.6inch?
The KYY K3-3 is a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) monitor with a 60 Hz IPS panel, as we already said. KYY says the monitor can get as bright as 400 nits and has a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. Unfortunately, the KYY K3-3 wasn’t nearly as bright as it said it was when we tested it. If you compare a portable monitor to its manufacturer’s specs, most of the time it falls short by about 10%. But the KYY K3-3 couldn’t even reach half of its claimed rate, coming in at 155.2 nits. One interesting thing about the KYY K3-3 is that it tries to offer high-end features, like a 4K IPS screen, at a very low cost. We saw that KYY isn’t always good in our instrumented tests, but the K3-3 makes a strong statement when used in real life.
I was surprised by how well it worked as both a work monitor and a light entertainment monitor. It was fun to work on my laptop while watching TV shows and live content on the screen. The stereo speakers that came with it weren’t very good, but that’s what you expect from cheap travel monitors. Thank you, KYY, for including the smart cover to protect the K3-3 when you move it. However, I wish it didn’t also function as a stand for the monitor. It’s tricky and the angle can’t be changed.
