Where to get JBL Flip 4?
Sadly, despite the fact that it has a sophisticated design, the quality of its sound does not quite match the level of sophistication exhibited by its design. It’s good, but considering JBL’s stellar reputation, we were hoping for a little bit more from them. Beginning with the recognizable theme from Revenge of the Sith from the Star Wars franchise, the brass horns come in with a solid stride, the high blasts confidently fill the space, and most significantly, there is no sense of harshness or sharpness even at higher volume settings.
Every instrument is given its proper placement, and there is never the impression that a particular area of the frequency range is going beyond what is acceptable at any given time. The presentation features a sufficient amount of space. Drums, horns, and strings all maintain their individual identities, and the presentation as a whole is remarkably expansive, especially coming from a speaker of such a diminutive stature.
