The JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds fit pretty well for being this thin, giving users a comfortable fit without giving up the tech features they’re used to in their headphones. That, along with the fact that they have a long battery life and good sound quality overall, makes these earbuds a great choice for your workout playlist. There are some problems, but depending on your needs, you might see them as unique chances to grow instead of issues. The wired setup is a bit complicated, so wireless charging is probably your best bet. The call quality is also pretty bad, so maybe work on your speed texting instead. The pros slightly outweigh the cons, so we’re sure you’ll enjoy using the JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds during your next workout.
I’m not used to fitness buds being this cool, but the JLab Epic Air Sport is. The ear guard is not a cheap piece of plastic that is added on top of the device. Each earbud has a logo with two touch sensors. There are no buttons on them. The case is small, slim, and full of useful indicators. For someone with small ears, earbuds often don’t work well for me. It’s almost impossible to find an eartip that fits just right. Luckily, the JLab Epic Air Sport comes with a variety of eartips in different sizes. The most important of these is a cloud foam option that doesn’t cause the sore inner ears that some earbud users are used to. Even better, it comes in a stylish blue that makes your plain black earbuds look a little more interesting, even when they’re in your ear.

Where to Get JLab Epic Air Sport ANC?
I have to say that the sound quality from the JLab Epic Air Sport surprised me. I’m used to over-ear headphones, so I thought the sound from the fitness earbuds would be much less balanced. Still, the sound quality was good even before I opened the JLab Sound app, which has a detailed equaliser that lets you change the sound. There was a bit of a bass boost, which I’m sure fitness fans love for their workout playlists. With one press and hold on the left earbud sensor, you can easily switch between the three hearing modes these headphones have. You can switch between the normal listening mode and a hear-through mode called “Be Aware” that lets you hear what’s going on around you better. The JLab Epic Air Sport case’s charging setup is a little different, which could be annoying or useful, depending on your tastes.
Right off the bat, the case doesn’t have a USB-C port for charging. As someone who usually charges everything with the USB-C cable next to their bed, this is a bit of a pain. It’s even stranger that there’s no port. The JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds case doesn’t have a charging port. Instead, it has a short USB 5v 1a cable that can be plugged into any USB port, like on your computer or a charging brick that works with USB. However, at just under three inches, it is very short. If you need to charge this way, you will be on a short leash.
