The Dell UltraSharp UP3218K is a monitor that looks nice even when it is turned off. It has a tool-free assembly, which means that it is simple and quick to attach the screen to its base in a secure manner. The monitor’s base and neck are both constructed out of brushed aluminum, which has a high level of durability. In spite of the fact that the screen measures 32 inches, it does not take up nearly as much desk space as we had anticipated it would.
This is in contrast to many of the ultra-wide monitors that we have seen in recent times, such as the Alienware AW3418DW from Dell’s gaming category. However, there is no denying that this is still a massive monitor that will take up the most of the space in your personal workspace. After the screen has been affixed to the base, it is possible to adjust it vertically by 120 millimetres and to swivel it by 60 degrees. Additionally, the screen can be rotated by ninety degrees, allowing the user to choose between landscape and portrait mode, which is quite helpful while editing images.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]It is possible to reduce the overall size of the monitor by utilising bezels that are more narrow around the sides of the screen. A small Dell logo can be found in the middle of the bottom bezel, and controls that allow users to navigate the on-screen menu can be found on the underside, in the bottom-right corner. In addition, the power connector, two Display Ports, an audio line out port, a USB upstream port, and two USB downstream ports are located down the underside of the screen, towards the back. These ports allow the monitor to function as a USB hub.

Where to Get Dell UP3218K 8K Monitor?
When you first open the Dell UltraSharp UP3218K, it looks great. The Dell PremierColor colour range (which has 100% AdobeRGB, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, and 98% DCI-P3 industry standard) shows what the monitor’s 1.07 billion colours can do. Since the monitor was adjusted at the factory, it looks great right out of the box. It was also easy for Windows 10 to find the 7,680 x 4,320 size and set the scale and layout to 300%. People know that Windows 10 scales well at high resolutions, so it’s great to see that it can do the same at 8K. The 300% scale is a good setting because the Windows 10 interface gets too small to use when the scale is set to 100%.
On the other hand, 225% is a good middle ground if you want to use the huge screen and still have a usable interface. A lot of 8K material is also still a long way off, but there are some 8K videos out there. Here are some 8K videos from YouTube: Streaming from YouTube won’t give you the best quality 8K material, but we have to say that the UltraSharp UP3218K really impressed us when we played some of the 8K videos. The ultra-high resolution and the way the monitor handled colours made the video look amazing. At times, the clarity on the screen made it look almost like it was in 3D. It’s definitely better than 4K, and those videos might be enough to get you to start saving for the UltraSharp UP3218K.
