My needs aren’t taken into consideration when developing the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar. Unfortunately, I do not spend enough time outside in the sunlight to reap the benefits of the solar panel, nor do I go on enough adventures that require a design that is extremely durable. Despite this, I am able to recognize a good fitness watch for what it is, despite the fact that I am not the intended consumer.
The extra-large Instinct 2X Solar smartwatch has a battery life that is the longest-lasting we have ever seen in a smartwatch, and it also has military-grade protection so that it can withstand tough terrain for an extended period of time. It is also one of the larger watches that we have examined, and it does not have the intelligence that some people who enjoy being outside will desire.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]Despite this, it’s still a rather remarkable piece of hardware. The original Instinct 2 Solar weighed on the higher end of what is considered to be a “normal” Garmin watch, coming in at 53 grams with the strap. However, because to the elevated and thick bezel, the watch was only able to fit a 0.9-inch display, of which a portion is taken up by the second circular window. Because of this and the weak illumination, you had to get the device extremely close to your face in order to be able to read the alerts.

Where to get Garmin Venu 2?
You can also save up to 650 songs on the watch from services such as Spotify, Deezer, or Amazon Music; however, because there is no LTE option, you won’t be able to stream anything unless you also have your phone with you. To use Garmin’s Live Track, a safety feature that communicates your whereabouts to a friend or family member during a workout, you will also need to bring your phone with you.
This is a requirement. The long battery life of the Venu 2 helps to make up for a lot of what it lacks in terms of smart capabilities, and this is a very welcome aspect. According to Garmin, the battery life of the Venu 2 in smartwatch mode (which mirrors phone alerts) is 11 days, whereas the battery life of the Venu 2S is only 10 days. If you currently own a Venu, it’s possible that upgrading to the Venu 2 isn’t worth it. On the other hand, if you’re new to Garmin and are seeking for a first-rate fitness watch that also has some basic smartwatch features, the Venu 2 might be just what you’re looking for.
