How to Enable or Disable Hot Corners on Mac: All Apple PCs have hot corners, which people either love or hate. we personally could not live without them. Others, on the other hand, find them annoying, especially when they keep activating the action by accident. Like everything else on a Mac, though, if a feature is more trouble than it’s worth, it’s easy to turn it off.
In the Preferences menu of macOS, there are nine options for hot corners, such as starting the screensaver, locking the screen, starting Mission Control, and so on. As the name suggests, you can assign these actions to any of the four corners of your screen. To use them, just move the mouse to the corner you want to use.

What are Hot Corners on a Mac?
When you move the pointer to a corner of the screen on a Mac, something special happens. This is called a “Hot Corner.” There are four Hot Corners, and you can do 10 things in each one. You can also turn a corner off. Slide the pointer to a corner on a Mac’s mouse or MacBook’s trackpad to open Launchpad, make a Quick Note, put the screen to sleep, and do other things.
Even though this list might not be in your top 5 most-used macOS features, Hot Corners can make your desktop work much faster. You don’t have to find these actions or remember the trackpad gestures for each one. Instead, you just drag your cursor to the corner that corresponds to the action, and you’re ready to go.
