When the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live came out, they were the first true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation from Samsung (ANC). Even though the jelly bean design wasn’t very appealing, the Galaxy Buds Live were a big step forward just because they had ANC.
It’s not as easy as it used to be. The newer, more expensive Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro has ANC and a lot of other improvements. This makes them even more of a competitor to the AirPods Pro and the cheaper Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, which has some of the same big noise-cancelling features.

Where to get Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Earbuds?
You put these Beans in your ears horizontally, with the small rubber oval around the charging dots at the back end of your ear and the speaker pointing toward the front of your face. Even though it came out two years ago, not everyone seems to know it or be able to use it. Even though Samsung gives you different sizes of rubber tips for the charging dots, you need medium-sized ears and enough space across the top to wear these correctly.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live have a lot of features, which is what you would expect from the company’s best wireless earbuds. For the first time, a pair of Galaxy Buds can block out noise. Samsung says that its ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) technology can block out up to 97% of background noise under 700Hz, like from trains and buses, while still letting voices and announcements get through.
The buds support Bluetooth 5.0 and use a technology called “Samsung Scalable Codec,” which changes the bitrate of the music being played based on how strong your Bluetooth signal is. It only works with Samsung devices (Android 7 and up), and you can’t turn it off. However, when we tested it with a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, we didn’t hear any major jumping around of quality.
At full charge, the earbuds should last for six hours, and the battery case cover can give you more than two full charges. This means that the Buds Live should last for close to 20 hours of playback. Even better, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live have quick-charging, which lets you play music for about an hour after just five minutes of charging.
