Let’s start off on a good note and talk about what’s good about the Samsung Chromebook 4+. The keyboard is fine, and the 15.6-inch screen has full HD resolution (1,920 by 1,080 pixels) instead of the lowly 1,366 by 768 pixels that only 11.6-inch Chromebooks can get away with.
There’s not much more after that, even if we reach: The Chromebook 4+ is made for people who want a big-screen laptop but don’t have much money. It would be fine at $199, but it’s not fun at $299.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]The Samsung Chromebook 4 looks simple and has a colour scheme called “Platinum Titan” by Samsung. The “Satin Gray” colour scheme of the 16GB version is similar, but a bit darker. The bezels and keyboard deck are coloured, but the keys are black. It has four rubber feet and speakers on the bottom that face down. Unfortunately, the bezels are very thick, which can be annoying when watching videos or movies on a laptop.

Where to get SAMSUNG Galaxy Chromebook 4?
The Samsung Chromebook 4 seems to be put together well. Samsung says that it has “military-grade durability,” but when we bent and pushed the device, we didn’t feel much give. The keyboard deck and back of the screen are made of thin metal, and the display bezels and bottom are made of plastic. It feels very sturdy and well put together. The hinge feels stable and solid.
The Samsung Chromebook 4 is surprisingly easy to carry around. It’s small enough to fit into a small bag, and it’s light enough that carrying it around shouldn’t be a problem. The charger is also small and light, so it won’t be hard to carry it with your laptop, even in a small bag.
Overall, the Samsung Chromebook 4 is hard to fix. To get to the insides, you just have to pull back the rubber feet, unscrew 4 Phillips head screws, and pull off the cover, though you might need a pick to pry it open. The only part that can be changed is the battery, which can be unscrewed and replaced. Even though our unit’s heat sink was discoloured, we don’t think it will affect how well it works. If you open the laptop and make changes to the hardware, the warranty may be void.
The Samsung Chromebook 4 only comes with a 720p TN screen, which even at this size doesn’t look very sharp. The bezels are thick and can get in the way of what you’re watching. It’s also small, so it’s not the best choice if you like to do a lot of different things at once.
