The Corsair Nightsword is an ergonomic gaming mouse that features RGB illumination and a slanted profile with a thumb rest. It has a few configurable buttons, but it is not comparable to an MMO-specific mouse in this aspect.
First and foremost, this is one of the tallest and heaviest mouse designs. It has a similar chassis form with the Corsair Scimitar(opens in a new tab), which caters to the MOBA audience more with additional buttons, but the Nightsword’s height is so exaggerated that those with little digits are almost compelled to use a palm grip. Having said that, its ergonomics appear to be adequate.

Where to get Corsair Nightsword RGB gaming mouse?
The slope at the rear is quite pleasant under the palm, and the scalloped left mouse button (LMB) and right mouse button (RMB) softly guide your fingers to the appropriate locations. The positioning of the ring finger may cause some pain for those with shorter fingers. It required a bit of a stretch to sit on the right side, which didn’t feel natural to me, especially when compared to the ultra-lightweight mouse.
iCue, the configuration software from Corsair, remains one of the best tools for mouse and keyboards. It is user-friendly, intuitive, and graphically oriented. The majority of the time, it is simple to see the adjustments you make to button mapping, illumination, and sensitivity in the software, allowing you to test and better comprehend these features.
In addition, its sensor is rather inconsistent, since it overshoots when the mouse is moved quickly and undershoots when the mouse is moved slowly. Due to its size, the mouse is not suggested for those with small hands. On the plus side, it’s well-constructed and highly customizable.
The Nightsword has access to the same lighting effects as many other Corsair mouse, including a fully customizable RGB spectrum and 10 “lighting link” effects. Each of the Nightsword’s four cosmetic lighting zones may be customised, giving you a variety of possibilities for mixing and matching. You can also choose static colours for the DPI-setting indicator lights, which change colour as the sniper button is held down.
