Unlike many of the best Ultrabooks, this one is very affordable, with its most expensive model costing only $1,300. At the moment, though, it’s hard to get because it’s sold out at the few stores in the US that had it and doesn’t exist in places like the UK and Australia.
The Acer Swift 3 OLED is a follow-up to the Acer Swift 3, which was one of the best laptops ever made, and the Acer Swift 5 touchscreen, which was also very good. This laptop doesn’t have a touchscreen like the others, but its bright and beautiful OLED screen that also works with HDR is its main draw.
Hope it comes back in stock soon because it’s a beautiful laptop with a sleek and sexy silver body, beautiful backlighting on the keyboard that makes it look almost like crystal, and a smooth and responsive touchpad. It’s also very thin and only weighs three pounds, making it easy to carry around. how easy it is to move around with this laptop.

Acer Swift 3 OLED review: Design
The design is our favorite part of the Acer Swift 3 OLED. It’s incredibly svelte, portable, and has a lovely silver paint job. The OLED screen is stunning, one of the most beautiful we’ve seen on a laptop, and it not being a touchscreen doesn’t detract from it in the slightest.
In fact, for those not too great about touchscreens, this laptop is perfect as it functions perfectly well without one. Its 500-nit brightness adds to the OLED, and the optional HDR makes the display pop even more. Thin bezels are always chic and these don’t disappoint, maximizing the screen real estate. You can get this laptop from its official website.
Acer Swift 3 OLED review: Performance
As I said before, manufacturers have had mixed results putting 45-watt 12th-generation Intel CPUs in 14-inch thin and light laptops. In some cases, the performance was limited by heat to the point where it wasn’t much better than Intel’s 28-watt CPUs with fewer cores.
The most common alternative CPU is the Core i7-1260P, which has 12 cores and 16 threads and uses 28 watts. From the table below, we can see that the Swift 3 OLED’s performance is closer to that of the 14-core/20-thread Core i7-12700H in the larger and thicker Dell XPS 15.
In Geekbench 5 and our Handbrake test, the HP Pavilion Plus 14 and Asus Vivobook S 14X are close to the Core i7-1260P. However, in Cinebench R23, they are faster.
Acer Swift 3 OLED review: Battery Life
The Swift 3 OLED did about as well as the other 45-watt laptops in our group of comparisons, but it did worse than the 28-watt machines. That’s to be expected, and it’s one of the costs of having a faster chip. However, the Acer beats the HP Pavilion Plus 14 in another area: battery life. Overall, the Swift 3 OLED won’t last a full day of work, so you’ll need to bring the power brick with you.
Acer Swift 3 OLED review: Price and availability
But even so, it competes well with the HP Pavilion Plus 14, which is available in one configuration for about $400 less, and the Asus Vivobook S 14X, which is closer in price. And the OLED version only costs $100 more than the Swift 3 that doesn’t have an OLED screen, so it’s a good deal. The price of the Swift 3 OLED might be a little high, but it’s mostly fair.
Final words
The case for the Acer Swift 3 is that it has one of the best screens and is one of the most powerful laptops you can get for around $1,200. With its small size and portability, it can be a great choice for both watching multimedia and doing hard work on the go.
