The Vizio 24-inch D-Series (D24f-F1) is the cheapest member of Vizio’s inexpensive D-Series line. It’s the smallest option and doesn’t have 4K resolution, so it’s the most affordable. There are a few niche uses where a smaller full-HD set is perfect, and Vizio sweetens the deal with its SmartCast smart TV platform and a price that’s oh so nice.

Input lag is the amount of time between when a TV gets a signal and when the screen updates. This is especially important for gamers. In Calibrated mode, the D24f-F1 has a delay of 26.7ms between input and output. In Game mode, the TV cuts that down to 24.6ms, which is still pretty long. We think a TV is very responsive if its input lag is less than 20ms.
On our list of the best TVs for gaming, you can find some of the fastest TVs we’ve tested. In Calibrated mode, the D24f-F1 uses 21 watts of power when viewed normally. With a screen this size that uses so little power, dimming the picture to save power doesn’t seem necessary.
