During the sign-up process, you’re asked if you’d like to start your free 3-month trial. If you wanna part of that process is you agreeing to pay for Apple Music once your trial expires, with no further action need on your part.

Step 4. A list of the subscriptions, present and past, related to your Apple ID will be displayed here. Find and tap on Your Membership >Apple Music Membership.
Step 5. Tap on the Automatic Renewal option, appear in the switch sliding to the Off position.
